Recently, we revised our Exposure Control Plan, particularly focusing on our spray foam operations, and offer it to clients upon request before commencing work.
The majority of our workforce, consisting of 50 employees, has undergone basic first aid training, complemented by job-specific training tailored to their roles. Each of our spray foam applicators is certified and adheres to our Exposure Control Plan as mandated by WorkSafeBC.
Employee Training:
- All employees directly exposed to spray foam chemicals must attain certification from Caliber (sprayers).
- Those with potential exposure as technician's assistants will receive training covering the composition, application, safe handling, symptoms, and spill management of spray foam chemicals.
Universal Precautions:
- All employees must adhere to universal precautions when working with or around spray foam projects. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided to Insulaton in CA employees at no expense to them.
